The Butte Central Maroons second-ranked boys' basketball team is back in action this evening with a Southwest A conference tilt with the Corvallis Blue Devils at the Maroon Activities Center and from what we've seen in the early-going of conference play, every game is going to count.
The Butte Rescue Mission's annual fundraiser banquet has been set for Wednesday, October 11 at the Maroon Activities Center and quite the evening is planned for guests and prospective donors. "Peace" in the Puzzle is this year's theme with proceedings getting underway at 5:30pm. Britney Higgs, founder of the HER Campaign will be the featured speaker.
The Butte Central Maroons Football Program has scheduled its 2022 summer football camp for July 24-27. The camp, which is open to 1st – 12th graders, will be held on Torger Oaas Maroon Field at the Maroon Activities Center.
The Pioneer Street Rods are planning a car show and swap meet for May 10 at the Maroon Activities Center at 550 E. Mercury and this might be the perfect event to chase winter off for good. Big game season may still be a few long months away, but Southwest Montana sportsmen and women have another reason to be excited. The annual Southwest Montana Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation annual banquet is slated for April 15 at the Maroon Activities Center. Again, this year organizers will have an impressive array of prizes including top-notch outdoor gear, exclusive home furnishings and premium firearms. Of course, the annual banquet is a chance to mingle with family and friends as well as other like-minded people in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
