Clothing Drive Distribution Day is Saturday-Not Too Late to Donate or Volunteer
This Saturday, December 3 is the distribution day of the 2022 Harrington Pepsi/Butte Cares/Bob Ward and Sons Clothing Drive as the doors of the Maroon Activities Center at 550 E. Mercury will open at 10am to all who are in need of clothing, blankets or winter gear. The drive will wrap up by 1pm, so please arrive early if you are in need. With the particularly cold conditions going into Saturday's event it is more apparent than ever that proper clothing is a must-have to get through a harsh Montana winter and all items that have been collected will be given away free of charge.
Donations Still Accepted, Volunteers Needed
It is not too late to make a donation of clothing, blankets, bedding, accessories, backpacks and even stuffed animals. Shoes and socks are acceptable as well provided that they are clean and gently worn. Please do not donate heavily worn or used items or clothing with holes or missing buttons or zippers. Donations will be accepted through this Friday, December 2, at the Maroon Activities Center between 9am and 3pm, Donations this year, as always, have been significant and many hands will be needed to help wash, sort and fold the items ahead of Saturday's Distribution Day. If you are interested in helping out, whether you can give an hour or a full day, you can sign up online right here.
