Some nights you've just got it and tonight, Michael Ure had it.  Montana Tech's 6'7 sophomore forward was simply unstoppable, putting up a career-high 35 points, 24 of them from behind the three-point line, as the Orediggers lambasted MSU-Northern 89-54 Thursday night at Kelvin Sampson Court.  Ure came out of the gate shooting, hitting three straight treys to start the game.  After a Northern timeout, Ure netted his fourth triple, putting the Orediggers up 14-4 just five minutes in.  And then he hit another.  And another, this one putting the Orediggers up 28-10. Northern would get no closer.

By the time the dust had settled, Ure would hit an unbelievable 8 of 9 three-point attempts while going 13 of 19 from the floor.  And he wasn't alone.  The Orediggers were on fire tonight, shooting 56.9% from the floor and a blistering 13-of-21 from behind the arc.  Caleb Bellach would join Ure in double-digits with a dozen while pulling down three rebounds and dishing out three assists.  Camdyn LaRance would add 8 points and three assists while Crishon Dixon would net 8, going a perfect 3-for-3 from the floor.  Hayden Diekhans led the Orediggers in rebounding with 7, while Asa Williams would rack up 4 assists.

MSU-Northern would put three players in double-figures as JJ Thomas scored 14, and Xavier Bailey and Zackry Martinez would each net 11.  The loss drops the Lights to 9-10 overall with a 1-5 mark in Frontier Conference games.  Montana Tech improves to 15-4 overall with a 5-1 league mark.

The Orediggers will be on the road to face Rocky Mountain College on Saturday and will return home next Thursday to take on Carroll College.
