From bingo to woodcarving, pinochle to some good old-fashioned exercise and of course plenty of good food, there is much to do, see and eat this month at Butte's Belmont Senior Center.  Here is a look at what's taking place this month.

WEEKLY ACTIVITIES AT THE BELMONT

  • Bingo is played every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at 1pm.  Cost is .25 per pot, $1.50 extra for blackout.
  • Pinochle is played on Tuesday and Wednesdays from 1 to 3:45pm.  Cost is $1 or .25 per set.
  • Sneakers Exercise is every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10am.  Cost is $1.50 per class.
  • Wood Carvers meet every Thursday at 8:30am.
  • Fresh cinnamon rolls and hot coffee are served on Tuesdays from 8:30am to 10am for $1.

SPECIAL ACTIVITIES THIS APRIL AT THE BELMONT

  • Hearing Aide Cleaning with Robin will take place on Wednesday, April 15thfrom 10:30am to 12pm.
  • Craft Class will be taking place on Tuesday, April 14th and Tuesday, April 28th at 10:30am.
  • Beginners Line Dancing Class with Lyn Stordahl will be on Tuesday, April 7th and Tuesday, April 21st from 11am to noon.  Cost is $5 per class.
  • Card Class with Terry Brunell with be on Thursday, April 2nd and Thursday, April 16th at 1pm.  Call Terry to sign up at (406) 533-9403.
  • Tech Nurses will be on hand this month on Wednesdays, the 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd from 10am to noon.
  • Changing Seasons Grief Therapy Group Meeting is Thursday, April 16th at 1pm.
  • Easter Dinner will be served on Thursday, April 7th from 12pm to 1pm.
  • April's Birthday Dinner will be on Thursday, April 23rd from 12pm to 1pm.

Remember that rides to medical and shopping appointments are available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in the mornings.  Call at least 24 hours in advance.  Cost is $10 per trip and dependent on availability.
