The Elks Lodge here in Butte at 206 W. Galena will be the site of a fun bingo night and silent auction fundraiser. The doors open at 5pm and admission is $10 which will include 2 bingo packets including 3 cards of 10 games each.
This month the Belmont Senior Citizens Center in Butte has a couple of sessions with Intermountain Health Care (formerly St. James) and A1 Ambulance that you need to know about. Coming this Monday, November 14th at 11am is an opportunity to learn about early heart attack recognition and care followed by a session on medication safety and adherence on Tuesday the 15th. These important clinics are in addition to a busy month of activity at the Belmont.
Whether you need to run a few errands, are looking for a friendly game of bingo or just want to sit and chat over a hot cinnamon roll and coffee, September is a great time to stop by Butte's Belmont Senior Center to take in all that is happening.
Once the hoist house of the proud Belmont Mine, the Belmont Senior Center for years has been known as a hub of activity for senior citizens in Southwest Montana. Services, socialization and assistance are provided to anyone 55 years of age or older as there are no memberships. And some of the services they are providing are not only helpful but incredibly affordable.
