One of the luxuries of being an American is that we have so many to choose from. The most popular in the U.S. continues to be football, with the NFL dominating the market—even among Gen Z folk. However, between the next two big ones, baseball and basketball, a change is on the horizon: basketball is significantly more popular amongst the younger generations than baseball, leading some experts to believe basketball will take the second place spot.

Luckily for us here in Butte, we have many options around us to sit down and watch our favorite sport, whether it's basketball (my favorite), football, baseball, or, heck, luge. Hockey and soccer are in there somewhere too. It's fun to watch games at home sometimes, but if you're anything like me, then you know there's nothing like going out to your favorite haunt, grab a beer, awkwardly ask the bartender to switch the playoff game that's on to ESPN 8: The Ocho, and sit back and, if you're lucky, listen to the crowd as the game plays out in front of you.

What are your favorite places to go? That's cool. Well, here are my favorites, and since I work for a company that actually pays me to write these things, my opinion is more important, I guess.

I might get some flack for throwing Buffalo Wild Wings in there, but seriously, what's not to like about it—especially our surprisingly awesome Butte location? We're very blessed to be sports fans in the Copper City.
