Butte Stroll Grand Marshals named
The nominations have been received and reviewed and a distinguished Uptown business has been selected to serve as the Grand Marshal to be honored to help turn on the lights during the tree lighting ceremony at the Courthouse Rotunda and lead the Children's Light Parade.

Bellach set to return to Orediggers
If anything, it's going to be an interesting couple of weeks for the Montana Tech men's basketball team. Sure, we are just entering the final weeks of the nonconference schedule, but the next two games in particular are of unique importance. The #7 Orediggers (6-1) will host Concordia University of Edmonton at 5pm this Friday, December 1, and then hit the road for a game the following Friday against the University of Montana Grizzlies

Uptown Christmas Stroll button design winners announced.
After reviewing hundreds of entries from children from Butte schools, Mainstreet Uptown Butte judges have selected this year's Stroll button design contest winners. On December 1st, the winners will be honored during the tree lighting ceremony at 6:30 pm at the BSB Courthouse at 155 W. Granite Street and then will be invited to help lead the Christmas Stroll Children's Light Parade at 6:45 pm.

Butte Elks will be rocking during the Stroll
The Uptown Butte Christmas Stroll which will be taking place this year on Friday, December 1. In addition to the abundance of activity Uptown that we have come to expect, like the tree lighting ceremony and the parade of lights, the Elks Lodge on Galena Street has added many different activities and events that afternoon and evening that you and your family are sure to enjoy including a craft fair and plenty of live music

It looks like the powers that be in law enforcement and our judicial branch are taking their pursuit of criminals to the internet. Or, at least, they're being a lot more active online in their pursuit of those with warrants out for their arrest.
