Pumpkin Swim Friday at Butte YMCA

Are your kids getting the exercise they need now that the school year is back in full swing?  Or perhaps you're one of those parents who every year put off getting your Halloween pumpkin until the last minute when the stores are all but sold out.  Maybe a bit of both?  Well get out the swim trunks and get to the YMCA this Friday because it's again time for the Pumpkin Swim.

One of the most popular events of the year at the Butte Family YMCA is the Pumpkin Swim and it is on again in 2022.  The "Pumpkin Splash" will be taking place this Friday, October 21 with a couple of different time slots available and each will be limited to 150 participants, each participant will be limited to 1 pumpkin.  Wave 1 will run from 5:30 until 6:30pm in the YMCA pool and wave 2 will run from 7 to 8pm.  The cost is five dollars per child and you can register here. Each participant will be able to find their perfect pumpkin in the pool, there will be pumpkin decorating, a Halloween snack and also carnival games and prizes.  Walk-ins will be permitted until capacity is reached, but due to increased popularity it is highly recommended that parents register their child early.
