Public invited to learn about TDS Telecommunications Butte services at “Fiber Forum”
| TDS Telecommunications is launching service in Butte and the public is invited to a forum where they can ask questions about products and services that are now available and learn more about the construction of the fiber network and why getting registered for service is important. TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®) is inviting Butte residents to learn more about its project bringing high-speed internet to the community at an upcoming Fiber Forum. The forum will be held at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, at the Butte Country Club, 3400 Elizabeth Warren Ave. The event allows residents and business owners to ask questions about TDS products and services, learn why fiber service is important, hear about the network construction process, and more.
TDS, operating as TDS Metrocom LLC, is constructing an all-fiber, high-speed internet network with speeds up to 8 Gig in Butte, as well as Helena, Helena Valley, Missoula, Billings, and Great Falls.
The family-owned company, founded in 1969, recently announced it has launched service in each Montana community it serves. TDS services include internet, video, and phone.
In addition to the Fiber Forum, residents can visit TDSFiber.com to register for service, monitor the progress of the build, and sign up for notifications about the new service.
Organizers note that the event is absolutely free, and that food and beverages will be available and there will be several prizes awarded throughout the evening. No reservations of any sort are required. If you're interested, just stop by.
