On Friday evening, Montana Tech's Volleyball Team held Senior Night by honoring six individuals that have left their indelible mark on the program, and have provided Oredigger fans with many memorable moments throughout their careers at Montana Tech.  The Oredigger Seniors were honored before their final home game at Kelvin Sampson Court as they prepared to take on Carroll College.  Here are the players who were honored.

Maureen Jessop- Outside Hitter from Corvallis, Montana. Mo has been a force in the Frontier Conference from day one. She is a four-time, First Team All-Frontier Conference selection, as well as a three-time NAIA All-American.  Her 27 kills in a match is tied for third all-time, and she currently sits in fourth on the all-time season kills list with 456, AND she is fifth as well with 427. Over her career, she has averaged 3.27 kills per set, with a .196 career-hitting percentage, along with a career 1697 kills, which makes Mo the all-time career kills leader in Montana Tech Volleyball history!

After earning her bachelor's in accounting, Mo is pursuing her Master’s Degree.

Olivia Muir- Outside Hitter from Smoot, Wyoming. In her three seasons at Montana Tech, Olivia has tallied 949 kills, with a lifetime .220 hitting percentage, and averaging 2.82 kills per set. She set a career-high 21 kills earlier this year against MSU Northern. Olivia has been named All-Conference in the Frontier twice and currently leads the Frontier Conference with 3.56 kills per set.

Olivia is earning her degree in Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences.

Jelena Jablanov- Libero from Novi Sad, Serbia. Jelena has been an Oredigger for two seasons, after transferring from Eastern Wyoming College. She currently sits with 665 career digs, with 354 of those this season. She is averaging 3.98 digs per set, and that number jumps to 4.41 digs per set in conference games.

Jelena with graduate with a degree in Business and Information Technology.

Taylor Henley- Middle Blocker from Kalispell, Montana. Taylor has been a force in the middle for the Orediggers throughout her career. She has accumulated 884 kills through her career, matched by 459 lifetime blocks. She has averaged 1.94 kills per set, as well as 1.0 blocks per set.

Taylor is a two-time All-Conference selection; she was also named NAIA All-American Honorable Mention.

Taylor is pursuing her Elementary Education degree and upon completion of the volleyball season, she will join the Montana Tech Women's Basketball program.

Sarah Hopcroft- Libero from Florence Montana. Hopcroft has had an outstanding career at Montana Tech. As a defensive specialist, Sarah has amassed 1,122 digs, with an impressive 640 in 2021. Over her career, she has a 3.57 digs per set average, and 89 career services aces.

Sarah is graduating in Applied Health.

McKenna Kaelber- Setter from Pasco, Washington. McKenna a fifth-year senior has had a tremendous career on the hill. Over her five seasons, McKenna has 3,986 career assists, with a lifetime 8.52 assists per set average! To add on to that impressive tally, she has 800 career digs coming into tonight’s match. Her 1266 assists in 2021 are good enough for 4th on the all-time single-season list.  McKenna is a three-time All-Conference selection.

She is currently pursuing her graduate degree after completing her bachelors in Occupational Safety and Health.

The Orediggers Athletic Department thanked the seniors "for your leadership, your commitment, and the countless memories you've created for all of us. We're going to miss you immensely, but we know you're destined for great things in the future."

Montana Tech Volleyball also extended a special thank you to David “Maynerd” Barrick for providing each of these seniors with their special “Maynerd Made” gift made with his incredible woodworking talents.
