Arguably Butte’s most popular summertime family event, Music on Main, is back for the 2026 season with its schedule and list of performers being released earlier today.  This year’s series will feature some popular local bands and some of the area’s top touring bands along with a “fan’s choice” performance at the end of the season on September 3, that will be decided, by voters, among the first 4 bands that are on this year’s schedule.  The winner will get to play the September 3rd event.

First things first.  Music on Main will run on Thursdays just north of Park on North Main Street from 6 to 9pm.  Vendors will be on hand for merchendise, food and beverages and as such, no outside coolers, backpacks or beverages will be permitted.  Please leave your pets at home as well.   In case of inclement weather, festivities will be moved to the Covellite at 215 W. Broadway but if the weather is nice, kids can expect the famous “foam machine” so remember to bring your own towels.  Again this year, thanks to TDS Fiber, the first 60 kids who show up will be given a $5 food truck voucher so bring the kids and come early.
