Spoiler alert:  This discusses extensively the Season 2 finale of Taylor Sheridan's "1923" Paramount series.  Particularly the ending of the finale, so if you haven't seen it and don't want any surprises, for Pete's sake finish watching the damn show.  It's been 2 weeks...

What can we say about the Season 2 finale of 1923 but, wow.  Not only was the nearly 2-hour episode packed with unexpected death, as is the case with Taylor Sheridan projects, but it had romance, redemption and plenty of gunfights.  Most notably?  The big scene where Spencer arrives at the Livingston train station to an ambush.  It was filmed right here in Butte at the Front Street Station, though the sign may read differently.

Now we knew something was up last year with the big production unit doing extensive filming with props as big as, well, a passenger train.  We were way off on our guess, by the way, but that's nothing new.  We had no idea the mayhem that would unfold just off of the tracks.  You can practically see the climactic scene unfolding right in front of you.

What is truly impressive is the work that the production crew left behind in the lobby of the Front Street Station.  From travel posters, menus and props, the decorations that remain are remarkable.

The Front Street Station is available for parties, meetings, reunions, gatherings and just about anything else you have planned.  Except for gunfights.  They're good on those.
