Here is the 2026 Butte-Silver Bow County Fair Schedule

It's fair time already, can you believe it?  Some exciting events, great music and family fun are on tap and here's a look at what you can expect this year.  Most of the events will be taking place at the Butte Civic Center unless otherwise noted.

SATURDAY, JULY 25

The first official event of the fair will be taking place at the Butte Vigilante Saddle Club as the Horse Show will start at 9am.

THURSDAY, JULY 30

• 7AM - 9AM - Lamb and pig weigh-in at the Butte Civic Center
• 9:15AM - Steer weigh-in at Montana Livestock
• 5PM - Market and Breeding Livestock Show at the Butte Civic Center (pigs, sheep, beef)

FRIDAY, JULY 31

• 9AM - Livestock Showmanship at the Butte Civic Center (pigs, sheep, beef)
• 12PM-5PM - Kids Zone activities at the Butte Civic Center
• 5PM - 4H Buyer's Club BBQ at the Butte Civic Center
• 6:30PM - 4-H Market Animal and Cake Auction
• 8PM - Levi Renz 406 FMX
• 8:30PM - 10:30PM - Live music with Friends of the Family

SATURDAY, AUGUST 1

• 9:30AM - 4-H Small Animal Show (Dog, cat, rabbit, poultry)
• 10AM - 3PM - Makers Market at the Butte Civic Center
• 11AM - Cornhole tournament at the Butte Civic Center
• 12pm - 2PM - Kids Day at the Fair activities
• 12PM - 6PM - Kids Zone activities
• 2PM - Community Talent Show
• 3PM - 4-H Awards Ceremony
• 4PM - Watermelon Eating Contest
• 4:30PM - Levi Renz 406 FMX
• 5PM - Line Dancing
• 7PM - 8PM - Night Life Band
• 8PM - Levi Renz 406 FMX
• 8:30PM - 9:30PM - Night Life Band

The Butte Civic Center will be open Thursday through Saturday from 9am to 6pm with 4-H exhibits as well as open class exhibits and displays from the BSB Archives.  Entry is free but food for the Butte Emergency Food bank and school supplies will be being collected for those interested in donating.
