For decades here in the Mining City we have been blessed with the services, care, and compassion of the Southwest Montana Community Health Center, one of the region's top nonprofit healthcare providers.  Their dedication to providing quick and dependable top-notch care to the literal masses of Southwest Montana has been made all the more noteworthy by their abundance of compassion and their incredible ease of access.

For nearly 40 years, the Southwest Montana Community Health Center has been providing a “one-stop” healthcare experience with medical, dental, behavioral health, care management and pharmacy services.  Their mission will go on as it always has, although they are excited to share with Southwest Montana an exciting re-branding along with a beautiful new sign outside their campus on Centennial Drive.

Southwest Montana Community Health Center is now known as Blacktail Health a name that’s "easier to remember and better reflects their commitment to accessible, comprehensive care for everyone."

In a release, Blacktail Health clearly states that changes will be minimal, if that.  "They will still be the same independent nonprofit community health center known for exceptional wraparound care, offering a “one-stop” healthcare experience," the release states.  "The only thing changing is the name and the sign."  Blacktail Health has the mission of inspiring hope and empowering wellness by providing access to comprehensive health care and a vision of "a stronger Montana through community and wellness."
