What qualifies as emotional loss?

Any type of loss is welcome.  Although obvious causes such as death and divorce are common causes, grief can come from many sources.  Recent retirees have attended as well as those who are empty-nesters.  Being forced to move can case grief as can financial stress and even unmet expectations.  If you fit into one of these criteria, you are welcome.

Peer-to-peer group.

The Grief Recovery Support Group is peer-to-peer but is facilitated by a professional clinician with knowledge of trauma.  Childcare is provided and there is no fee to attend.  If you are experiencing grief, this group can provide a connection with others who are experiencing similar circumstances or emotions.  Others who understand your pain can also provide vaildation and a new perspective.  If you would like details on taking part in this group, please call Psychiatric Consultants, Inc. at (406) 491-6343.  If you are seeking more individualilzed help, please call to set up a meeting with one of their therapists.   Although grief is a natural and normal reaction to loss, you do not have to deal with your pain alone.
