Thats right! Believe it or not, Butte and the surrounding areas feature the unique rock features and compositions that Western Montana is famous for, though the routes near the Copper City are even more unique because of their secret nature and, thus, their lack of people. Most of the spots I've been to out here had very little people and the ones that did have fellow climbers scaling the faces were very passionate and helpful.

The best part? These climbing locations usually have some solid, safe routes that are good for the first-timer or the 1000th-timer, while serving some seriously beautiful views for those who make the trek.

Let's take a look at some of the best climbing spots near Butte America.
