The Big Butte Brewfest is Back and Bigger Than Ever
BUTTE, MT - Let us paint you a word picture: an endless flow of delicious, locally-crafted beer; wall-to-wall surroundings of your proud history, including mining equipment your grandfather used when he was down there himself; dark, spooky corridors that aren't so scary because you're loaded up on frothy beer.
Sound like it's too good to be true? We have some good news for you, then. One of Butte’s most exciting events of the year is right around the corner.
The 3rd Annual Big Butte Brewfest is hitting the World Museum of Mining on Saturday, August 24, 2024, and it's going to be a good one (the streets are saying their biggest yet). It's going to be a day filled with tasty brews, live music, and—as always—a whole lot of Butte pride. This isn’t just another beer fest; it’s a celebration of Montana’s brewing culture, all set against the backdrop of Butte’s long and respected history.
With breweries from across Montana and exclusive regional distilleries participating, you’ll have plenty of choices to fill your Sili-pint—an awesome new addition this year. The day doesn’t stop at beer; you'll find cider, distilled spirits, and food vendors serving up delicious bites to keep you going. Plus, live music will be rocking the WMM pavilion, setting the perfect vibe for an afternoon of indulgence and presumed debauchery.
In our best Ron Popeil impression: "But wait, there's more!" Raffles with incredible prizes will be happening throughout the day, with all proceeds supporting the expansion of the Mining Heritage Center. And for those looking to dive even deeper into Butte’s history, underground mine tours will be available for those looking to experience a deeper understanding of Butte's history. Hah.
Early bird tickets are on sale now for $35, but act fast—they go up as the event approaches. And remember, the trolley will be running to and from Uptown Butte, so you can enjoy your day without any worries involving alcohol and operating giant, deadly chunks of operational metal and machinery.
Get ready to celebrate Butte’s past, present, and future: one pint at a time.
