Living here in Butte, people think that their only options are to go to a restaurant, a bar, or a casino. I've made it my personal mission to dissuade those who feel this way and to inform the greater region beyond Butte that we in fact do have a ton of cool stuff going on every weekend.

Roadrunner with Alexander Craig and Smokestack

When: Friday, June 28th, 2024, at 6:30pm

Where: The Covellite Theatre (215 W Broadway St, Butte, MT 59701)

Price: Free, suggested donation of $18

What: "Smokestack will start the show in the upstairs theatre, and then Alexander Craig will pick up in the lounge right when Smokestack ends, and then we will roll directly into Roadrunner upstairs with no break in the music!" Find all information here.

Trout Basket Concert

What: "Winners of the 2024 Bozeman's Choice Bluegrass Band, Trout Basket dishes up high energy, hard-driving bluegrass music for the masses. They craft heartfelt originals and rearranged covers of popular songs that are sure to get people dancing. Their masterful harmonies will tug at your heartstrings, while their skillful instrumentation melts your face.

Trout Basket was formed in 2020 with multi-instrumentalist, Garrett Benjamin and Bass aficionado, Brendan Fox. They began as a duo and had the idea to feature different players for each show. Eventually, they settled in and hired Luke Gladis on mandolin and Lily Johnston on fiddle to round out their sound. The two have become mainstays ever since." Find all information here.

What: "Vittima is an Anaconda based rock band that is FDA approved to prevent and cure all diseases! With the blend of classic and modern rock, we are a group that can satisfy all your rock n’ roll needs! We have Chris Illston smacking the sticks, Matthew Skiles slappin’ da bass and screaming, and Caleb Zenahlik shredding the six string and singing. We’ve been performing together since 2019, and will be coming out with our debut album later this year! Every show comes with high energy and good times! Icarus is a Rock band based in Bozeman, MT. Icarus is a cast of musicians that has a deep passion for jamming and creating unique art. Their influences include Kyuss, Primus, bands like Sonic Youth, and maybe a hint of Bob Marley.
