Popular Montana Restaurant to Get 30 New Locations 2025
BUTTE, MT - Here’s some rare good news in a world filled with closures and “out of business” signs: a major casual dining chain is booming—and it might be expanding somewhere near you.

Texas Roadhouse, the wildly popular steakhouse chain known for its rolls, hearty portions, and lively atmosphere, has announced plans to open 30 new locations across the U.S. in 2025.
That includes a mix of traditional Texas Roadhouse restaurants and its fast-growing offshoot, Bubba’s 33.
The company’s growth isn’t just steady—it’s dominating.
Last year alone, Texas Roadhouse saw a 14.7% jump in U.S. sales, reaching $5.5 billion and surpassing longtime leader Olive Garden to become the largest casual dining chain in the country, according to restaurant analytics firm Technomic.
Here in Montana, Texas Roadhouse already has locations in Billings, Bozeman, and Missoula, all three of which stay packed nearly every night of the week.
And while the company hasn’t confirmed new Montana locations just yet, the planned national expansion spans 17 states—which means Big Sky Country isn’t off the table.
For towns like Butte, Great Falls, or even Kalispell, where residents often drive hours for a night out at one of these beloved chains, this news could be a game-changer.
