The 26th Annual Cruisin' on Main Car Show returns to Bozeman on August 16. See classic cars, register your ride, and support a great local cause.

Well, if we wanted to wait until one of the hottest days of the summer for our first Cruise Nite of the summer on KMBR, we certainly accomplished our mission. Even with the mercury at 90 degrees as we began our broadcast, it certainly did not deter a large and enthusiastic crowd from gathering at Redline Sports on Harrison Avenue and many of them brought out some impressive classic cars, trucks and motorcycles for the first of several Cruise Nites we'll be hosting throughout the rest of the summer.

Wednesday evening the parking lot of Keikers Kustoms was full. And so was many of their nearby neighbors as the final Cruise Nite of the 2023 season was held and Mining City motorheads were out in full force.

So far this summer's Cruise Nites have seen a little bit of everything. A dragster took home top honors at our first event back in June and our last event saw a late model Corvette speed off with the Peoples' Choice Award for cars and trucks. Competition on the motorcycle side hasn't been too shabby either and we are expecting plenty of both for our 4th Cruise Nite of the summer which gets underway tonight at 6pm at Redline Sports on Harrison Avenue.

Another exciting Cruise Nite is ready to roll tonight at 6pm at the Drunk'n Miner Saloon and Copper Spirits Casino at 1800 Meadowlark here in Butte. Classic cars, trucks and motorcycles are all welcome and encouraged to register for the "People's Choice" Awards.

The Pioneer Street Rods are planning a car show and swap meet for May 10 at the Maroon Activities Center at 550 E. Mercury and this might be the perfect event to chase winter off for good. If nothing else, it's a great chance to catch up with old friends, get a part or two and check out some of the sweetest rides in Southwest Montana.
