The Butte Central Activities Department has released this week's schedule of events. Here is a look at where you can catch the Maroons in action this week.

The Butte Central Education Foundation will celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Maroon Activities Center this weekend during a home basketball double header. The celebration will be held January 25, 2025, during the boys’ and girls’ varsity basketball games against the Hamilton Broncs. The boys’ game will be at 4:00 P.M. and the girls’ game will be at 5:30 P.M.

Butte Central Catholic Schools will join over 6,000 Catholic Schools and over 2 million U.S. students in the celebration of National Catholic Schools Week 2024. The week-long celebration will begin Sunday, January 27, 2025, and continue through Friday, February 2, 2024. Twenty-three Montana Catholic Schools will participate in the event.

Butte Central Catholic High School has posted their weekly activities schedule which is heavy with conference basketball contests plus wrestling and swimming on the weekly slate.

The Butte Central Maroons will jump full speed into the winter sports season this week with extensive varsity and subvarsity action coming up for fans to enjoy. Here is a look at the Maroons' weekly activities schedule.

For decades, the Butte Central Catholic School system has put on the annual Laverne Combo Thanksgiving Dinner and this is an event that they are particularly proud of, with good reason. Every year the students, faculty, staff and friends of the school fully prepare and serve an extravagant Thanksgiving feast for the elderly and homebound. They do it all. They purchase the food with donations. They prepare the turkey and all of the side dishes. They serve a huge contingent in the school's gymnasium and deliver just as many meals to those who are unable to leave their homes. This year's dinner is right around the corner. In fact, Butte Central is accepting reservations right now.

Butte Central basketball gets new jerseys every 4 seasons and 2024 is the year they are due. Butte Central is also a private school whose financial priorities at present time are ones that do not have new uniforms penciled in. The Butte Central boys have been told that they are welcome to new uniforms, they'll just have to pay for them by themselves. The bill? They need to raise $4300 to pay for 14 pairs of home and visitor jerseys. So, they're going to need a little bit of help.

We are at the end of the Spring sports season as the final games, matches and meets take place before the postseason begins. Here is what Butte High and Butte Central have on tap.

Let's just say that if you like to watch softball, you're going to be in heaven in the days leading up to Mothers' Day 2024 as the Butte Central Maroons host the annual Laverne Combo Invitational next Friday and Saturday, May 10th and 11th. 5 fields will be used as 26 Montana high school softball teams from all over the state compete in a total of 48 games.
