BUTTE, MT - What does your ideal summer Saturday morning look like?

I can describe mine perfectly. It involves sleeping in from the night before after wining and dining on the streets of Butte America, looking through the window and seeing that sunshine pour in, while I make my morning coffee next to my favorite woman in the world. And that's just getting started.

For many of you, it probably looks pretty similar. From there, though, some of us may deviate. I know a lot of people who will just stay in bed all day, vegging out, relaxing, and enjoying life. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that, and do not let anyone else tell you otherwise. However, I like to get out and go for a hike, get some breakfast, or head to a lovely summer event. And I think many of you feel the same way. If you do: listen up!

On Saturday, June 8th, 2024, you'll get to experience the always fantastic Butte Wings & Wheels, a family-oriented event geared towards getting outside, having fun, and experiencing everything that the Bert Mooney Airport has to offer. That may sound like a hard sell, but it isn't when you consider everything going on:

  • A pancake breakfast and fundraiser
  • An aircraft fly-in and display
  • A car show put on by Butte Auto
  • Food vendors
  • Hourly drawings
  • Activities for all ages, including a flight simulator
  • Tours
  • Much more

Tell me that doesn't sound like the most fun you've ever had at an airport. It'll be going on from 8am to 3pm at Butte's airport, Bert Mooney, and everyone is invited (except the pup, only service animals are allowed).
