Just Announced: Nationally-Acclaimed Artist Coming to MT
BUTTE, MT - Another day, another week, another huge music announcement that make us feel lucky to be living here in the beautiful state of Montana.
Today is a very exciting announcement as it involves one of our favorite country artists making their way down to the Kettlehouse Amphitheater for an end of summer bash. Have you ever seen a show at the Kettlehouse Amphitheater? If not, you're in for a treat: imagine an Ancient Greek-esque theater, nestled in the mountains of Montana, surrounded by natural beauty and cool people.
It's going to be a fun time.
Let's see if you can guess who the newly announced artist is. Here are some hints:
- He has been nominated for multiple Grammy awards for his music.
- His family on his mother's side were all coal miners.
- His debut album came out in 2013.
If you haven't gotten it yet, let me help you out. Sturgill Simpson, nationally-acclaimed country musician and singer, will be performing at the Kettlehouse Amphitheater later this year. Look below for all the details:
- Date: Sunday, September 22nd, 2024; doors at 6:30pm
- Location: Kettlehouse Amphitheater in Bonner, MT (605 Coldsmoke Lane, Bonner MT, 59823)
- Tickets: On Sale Friday, June 14th at 10am (here's the link)
- A brief description of Sturgill and his band: "Simpson and his band—Kevin Black (bass), Robbie Crowell (keys), Laur Joamets (guitar) and Miles Miller (drums)—will make their long-awaited return to the road this fall with the 'Why Not? Tour.'"
That sounds like it's going to be an awesome time. If you live under a rock—no disrespect—and haven't heard Sturgill before, take a look at the video below:
