MT Weather Predictions for September 2024, Day by Day Breakdown
BUTTE, MT - The Farmer's Almanac is something of a treasure, whether you believe in its predictions or not.
Since starting in 1792, the Farmer's Almanac longevity must give its credit to the fruitful and interesting information they contain from page to page: anything from astrology alignments, to a schedule for what days are best for you to do your outdoor chores, to (our favorite) facts about our favorite feline pets.
One thing they stand out for, as most of you already know, is the weather predictions. We've covered briefly here before the weather predictions for the rest of 2024 and the beginning of 2025. But let's get specific: what is the weather like for September of 2024?
Take a look below for a breakdown of what the Farmer's Almanac predicts for the month of September, 2024, here in Montana.
Now Autumn's golden stores behold,
with fruit each tree is crowned;
peaches in suits of red or gold,
each twig bows toward the ground.

There you have it. It seems like the Farmer's Almanac is predicting a wet and chilly start to the fall months, which is a nice alternative when you consider the dry and hot season of last year—which led to our devastating fire season this year. So, if everything goes according to plan, it may be time to bust out the jacket and the umbrella (do people still own those?) from the closet.
Remember: these are predictions, and not accurate readings for what the weather may actually entail. So don't be surprised if it's 100 degrees all through September and the Farmer's Almanac is—gasp—wrong!
