Not Healthy? Montana Cities Nowhere To Be Found On List
This might be the worst list we have seen in quite some time. There should be more Montana representation.
Most Montanans care about their health. People go to the gym, hike, jog, or find other athletic activities to keep themselves in shape. Even folks who work on ranches or farms are doing laborious jobs that keep them fit or in good shape.
Even restaurants and food joints in Montana aren't serving red meat or fried food these days. You can get healthier options at most food spots in Montana's cities and small towns.
With all that information, you would think Montana would have some of the healthiest cities in America, right?
We have some news to bring to you.
We found a list of the Healthiest Cities in America for 2024, and one Montana city landed incredibly low on the list.
According to Niche, the only healthy city in Montana is Billings, and they landed at #102 out of #220.
Billings scored an overall B grade. They had a B grade for public schools and a B+ for health and fitness.
This list was determined by grading public schools, health & fitness, and a few more categories.
What's confusing is why these other categories are included to determine the healthiest cities in America.
We would understand if actual scientific data were included to evaluate the healthiest cities in America because Montana would have included places like Missoula, Bozeman, and even Helena with Billings.
Do you agree with this or should more cities from Montana be on the list? We think so.
