Here in Montana, we've lots of small towns to choose from. Some are a little more popular than others with places like Whitefish receiving lots of attention.

For those looking to find the perfect small town, the folks on the social media site OOAKT came out with the Top 10 list of the best small towns in America and two Montana towns made the list.

Coming in 7th on the list is the Montana town of Phillipsburg. What makes Phillipsburg so great? Not only can you mine for sapphires, but one of the best candy stores in all of America is located in Phillipsburg. The Sweet Palace is a must-see as well as the charming downtown area that offers locals and visitors all kinds of charm.
Next on the list is the popular town of Red Lodge.
Red Lodge came in at number 4 on the Top 10 list. This beloved Montana town is known not only for its charm and friendliness but also for its easy access to skiing and the Beartooth Highway. While folks visit all year long, the summer months are always popular with people traveling the Beartooth.
