Two Montana Parks Land In Top Five Most Searched National Parks
Montana is known for it's National Parks.
In fact, millions of folks travel to Big Sky Country each year to visit either Glacier or Yellowstone, or both. One is a wonderful place to see wildlife and learn about the mysteries of the earth, the other is one of the most beautiful places on the earth.
Folks can debate back and fourth which one is better (Glacier), but what isn't debatable is the fact that both Parks are among the most popular in the country.
For those who are curious, the folks over at Hoppa took a look at data from Google to determine which National Parks gained the most online interest, and it just so happens that both Glacier and Yellowstone made the Top 5.
Which National Park ranked higher?
According to the data, the most searched National Park online is....Yellowstone National Park. Interesting, right? Not only is Yellowstone the nation's oldest National Park, it is also the most searched digitally. While people might argue over the reasons, I'm sure the TV show, the animals, and Old Faithful probably have something to do with it.
Ok, so if Yellowstone is number one, where is Glacier National Park ranked?
Well, we stated that both Montana National Parks were in the Top 5, and according to the data, Glacier National Park is the 4th most searched National Park online. Ok, so if Yellowstone is 1st and Glacier is 4th, who comes in 2nd and 3rd?

The Grand Canyon takes 2nd place while Zion National Park is ranked 3rd. Oh, and if you're curious, Yosemite rounds out the Top 5.
