The Newberry In Great Falls Has Some Great Rock Shows Lined Up For Fall
The Newberry in Great Falls is coming off a huge show on Sunday night, as they hosted 3 Doors Down and Candlebox at Voyager Stadium. That just might be their biggest show of the season, but it is far from their last.
The remaining schedule at the Newberry has some outstanding shows left on the docket, including a strong run of country shows. But with the success of the 3 Doors Down show, I want to focus on the rock shows that are still coming up.
September will come to a close with a run of three rock shows, starting on September 15th with Smells Like Nirvana. Smells Like Nirvana ‘celebrates the legendary sounds of Nirvana and Kurt Cobain. They perform songs from Nevermind, Un Utero, Bleach, and more.
No Resolve and Halocene will co-headline the Newberry on September 27th. No Resolve mixes modern rock with grunge, taking influences from bands like Papa Roach and Three Days Grace. Halocene is completely self-made. They have toured coast to coast (and beyond the coast) opening for bands like Blink-182, and Fall out Boy, they also have a huge following on Youtube, as well as Twitch.
Then on the 28th of September, Buckcherry will hit the Newberry stage. Originally out of Anaheim, California Buckcherry broke onto the music scene with their 1999 self-titled debut album. That debut album was certified Gold and set the stage for their sophomore album Time Bomb. The lineup of the band has changed a bit through the years, but Buckcherry continues to tour hard, and put on great shows.
On October 1st, Everclear and the Atari’s will take the stage. Everclear, one of the leading alternative bands to emerge from the 90’s, celebrated their 30th anniversary in 2022, and founder Art Alexakis has made it clear they have no plans on slowing down anytime soon. With over 6 million records sold, and 12 top 40 singles, Everclear’s legacy as a live band continues.
