BSB County Fair seeking Community Partners, Vendors and Volunteers
The Butte-Silver Bow County Fair board members are hitting the streets in preparation for the 2025 event which is coming to the Butte Civic Center July 31st through August 1st. This is the second year in a row that the event will be back at the Butte Civic Center and organizers are hoping to make the Fair one of Butte's prized summer events to which people look forward every year.
Last year saw stuntman Spanky Spangler make the last jump of his illustrious career which included over-the-top theatrics here in Butte at Evel Knievel Days in years past and a laundry list of movie and TV credits. We saw the legendary band Little Texas perform. We had music and food trucks outside and 4H exhibits inside. People had a lot of fun and the crowds were huge, especially for the Spanky Spangler jump. Organizers are looking to make this year's fair even better.
Community partners will once again be a big part of the Fair's success. Are you a business that would like to get behind this incredible weekend? Sponsors again are needed and welcome. The theme this year will be "Big Sky Nights and Homegrown Delights" and excitement is building. Vendors will also be needed this year as well as many volunteers from the community to help keep things running smoothly. If you would like to take part, contact the Butte-Silver Bow Couny Fair on their Facebook page linked to above, email buttefairboard2024@gmail.com or call (406) 498-8495. They can be reached by snail mail as well at P.O. Box 864.
